Not to sound like an asshole, but these fests probably won't do better then a regular show, draw wise, so you will have the same amount of money come in, with more bands to pay out too. I am really anti-fest, atleast for these types of fests where they just pile a bunch of small bands together, figuring each will bring in their own fanbase, but thats not how it ever works and I thought everyone learned that.

I'm kind of thinking along Joe's lines with this fest and that there's just a bunch of local type bands being meshed together to try to bring people together adn they're calling it a festival (summer festival at that and it's in October?). However, bands have to sell tickets and the more tickets sold the better the spot....blah, blah, blah.

i would probably go if we weren't trying to get a show that day.

Personally I wasn't a fan of the drum-machine demo myself, but IT'S A DEMO!!!! And I'd actually seen you play live before I heard the demo.
