I was only fucking kidding. I don't know. When a band is in so many gay magazines it scares me, but the more I listen I don't seem to hate them. Like Crowbar meets Savatage. It almost should suck, but I don't think it does. Just curious what real people and not alterna-rags think. After last night I don't think any band matters but akercocke.

they have a few songs that i enjoy. i like a few tracks off of their newest, the stoner-ish sounding ones. and def "Battle at Sea" "Where the Behemoth Strides" and "Workhorse".

i like mastodon. i like the fact that i dont pay attention to whatever gay mags you are talking about like the revolver top 50 heavy bands for example.

I liked Remission. Crusher Destroyer was a good track, even March of the Fire Ants. Not too sure about Leviathan yet however.

i hate mastadon. def. the most overrated band out right now. i was falling asleep when i saw them in albany. "march of the fire ants" is a good song, but the rest is lame.

i've been a mastodon fan since lifesblood came out and i will like them until they put out a shitty album, which doesn't look to be anytime soon. it blows that posers everywhere are going to try to copy their sound, but i still enjoy the band, regardless of how many trendy magazines and morons jump on the bandwagon.

i can't wait to see how many people get mad about swamplord including pig destroyer in his overrated list. i personally agree with his list. i like pig destroyer, but i don't understand why they are so big. good band, but nothing amazing in my opinion.
