Yeah, Joe booked this before I booked mine... but I don't ever have the luxury of picking and choosing, I have to take whatever I can get. I seriously doubt either show will hurt the other's draw. One is weirdo rock and punk bands, the other is metal and grindcore bands.

Northern Liberties, from what I hear, is a totally dysfunctional band, so they should fit right in with the bands in this scene

The show was alot of fun, started off kind of slow (crowd wise) but had picked up to a decent point by the end of the night. Ghoul's Night Out and The Old Man played good sets even with technical difficulties.

Northern Liberties was amazing, Kevin's bass skill and tone are unreal. They are planning to tour in September, I do hope they end up back in this area.

Bugs and Rats played a great set, one of the best I have seen from them. Justin Liberties compared Kellzo (bugs and rats' drummer) to Animal from the Muppets, a worthy description. A great match for Northern Liberties, rumors spread about a NL B&R split 7".

If you didn't make it I assume you were at either Abhorred or Raising Kubrick, if you weren't at one of those or this, then you lost last night.
