Last night I (for some retarded reason) bought a katana.

It was cool looking so I bought it and Then realized that it was a retarded idea because there are so many better things I could have spent the money on... like christmas gifts that I have yet to buy and now have no money for.

If anyone would be interested, I was 60 bucks for it. It's still wrapped and in the box. I'll even give you the reciept with it.

The retarded asians I bought it from at the galleria will only give me store credit for it.

please, go easy on me... I'm retarded, I know.

Could you describe it a little, or post a pic? I'm definately interested.

It's a replica of alguren's Katana from the last samurai. It's 440 stainles steel (pretty typical of swords under the 300$ price range) Chesswood sheath with satin black finish, ivroid 'handle' black guard, and japanese inscriptions.

This exact one:

Here's a picture of faggot-ass Tom Cruise with one:

I bought it from this companies retail location.

I don't want to take pictures of the exact sword because it's still in the box and has all the tags on it and shit, it's untouched and I don't want to degrade the resale value becuase I need the cash.

Only downside is I'm truckless as the moment, so you'd haveto come pick it up.

Pick it up where?

I already have 3, but I'm kinda addicted. I'm also looking to get a replica of the duncan mccloud katana (the one with the straight head, not the crooked one.)

I got one of these http://www.swords-n-stuff.com/yk%2d168%2d4.html I'm looking to sell, if anyone is interested. Probably for $80. It's in mint condition, it's the big one in the top of the picture. It's real pretty, and everyone thinks it looks cool, but I'd rather stick with something I can actually cut someone in half with.

Today's your unlucky day, I just sold The Mccloud 3rd generation samurai katana and otanto.

Anywho, I'm in whitman Mass.

Thedragon katana and last samurai katana are mostly decoration, none of my lower end swords ever get any use, they are cleaned but other than that they are hardly unsheathed.

The one I use is my cold steel imperial katana. Not very many companies actually make battle ready katanas and cold steel is one of the few. Some day I'm going to own a Paul Chen swan as soon as I have 1200 bucks to throw into a katana.

My next will no doubt me a midrange naginata.

Those highlander swords are sick, my buddy has both of them. I don't like connor's as much as duncan's, but they're both awesome.

I could meet up with you in whitman, I work in bridgewater. I'll definately take it, but I'm not working again til tuesday. Email me your number, petefrommasscore@hotmail.com

THe dragon sword is definately NOT sturdy. It's solid construction, but it's meant to be ornamental. If you hit something with it, that whole handle would shatter.
