So this is the deal:
I have been learning Norwegian now for 5 months, by myself, with books and internet based programs. I am not allowed to free classes here cause I'm part of the EEU and these programs are only for refugees and other immigrants (dont get me started) and I cant afford paying classes yet.

The problem is that I dont have some kind of program that I could follow to go forward. I basically need some kind of "school regularity" if I can call it that way.

Ok this is a long shot but I dont know, maybe Carina you can help? I'm trying to remember the crap at school when I was learning English and German but this is so fucking long time ago (ok, I'm not that old).

Help...please...my brain is melting

I got a D in spanish once.

I wouldnt expect any less from you Joe.

But yeah, I guess I'm just losing patience in this thing, which unfortunately I need a lot. I actually speak with people at the bar when I'm drunk...it can be very entertaining...obviously.

seriously? spend less time studying and more time talking to people who speak the language.

I took French, but my teacher was an asshole so I didn't pick it up very well...I probably know more Spanish at this point...

Well, yeah I can talk and read and understand a bit, unfortunately people just dont articulate when they speak between them and if I try to understand...well I'm not even close.
Plus they want to practice their English and I just wanna speak Norwegian...it's a bit confusing.
I just need to get in a routine of some sort I guess. The learning process is the same for any language. I did a bit of research today on google and I guess I will try to build a schedule for next week.

eh...I was just wondering if you remember any shit from school, you did translation school, right? So, you majored in some kind of language I assume.
But at the end I just lost it. I've been studying straight for 2 weeks now, and I just dont see any progress but as I said before I lost it.
I'll figure shit out, just need some patience.
I'll go out for a few beers tonight so we'll see.

I have friends in Stavanger. I don't know how that's any help.

I don't even know how to make all those wacky letters. Wish I could help. My Norwegian editor told me once that it was one of the most difficult languages to learn...so if you can ask where the bathroom is in Norwegian, Anne, I am impressed! haha

I got a B in French last semester. But I mostly cheated.
