New site? Maybe some day.

These guys rule so hard in that cheesy Busch Gardens way. I saw them last summer and they started the show by rushing out from behind the stage decked in animal skins and paint to slit the throats of the Crusaders they had set up banging drums to their intro. It was pretty fucking awesome.

Great fucking music for anyone that knows how to lighten up. I listen to this record all the time when I engage in my various dork indulgences. |

i was thinking this morning about a conversation with someone at some show about battle metal. i believe Graveland was the first to use the term. |
|
I believe that is true. Though 'war metal' was first.
This is pretty pompous stuff, fans of Finntroll, Ensiferum , Bal-Sagoth, Korpiklaani and other similar acts will get a kick out of it. Fun metal. |
|
it's okay, a drummer who auditioned for us hooked me up with this
I like Aes Dana better, but hey, the more war metal the better.
You kinda HAVE to be pompus, or at least assertive |
|
It's definitely goofy. I love the shots of them running out of the lake from their canoe. |
|
I think this one is my favorite! No offense to the older bands, but these guys and Korpiklaani totally rule the roost when it comes to goofy fun. Neither of them will ever come over here unfortunately. |
|
Hahaha, well we got Finntroll....so you never know.... |

Aes Dana do indeed own, I just got their cd cause the guy at metalfest with the nuclearblast vendor looked at my Falkenbach shirt and recommended me Aes Dana, as well I am a huge Irish Nationalist so any band that has the concept of Irish myth in their music is worth a buy in my book.
