speaking of new good music, the latest Xasthur starts off REALLY well..I've only been playing it to and from work and I've only managed to keep playing the first (ridiculously ominous and when I say mournful I mean gigantic and well, good) track.

The sunn0))) & Boris album, Altar, hasn't really sunk in, except for "The Sinking Belle" which features vocalist Jesse Sykes, because I've had it on while doing computer work.

But for now, Unleashed rules.

I need me some new Xasthur. I have the Twilight album and the Xasthur/Leviathan split. I love how the Twilight album sounds like shit, like real old school. I'm also really excited for the Boris/Sunn album. I wonder, "how can they record all those instruments?" seeing how both bands have such a huge sound respectively.

Whens the last time they toured over here? I got a bootleg video of them opening for Morbid Angel back in 1991.Entombed was on that tour too

I saw them play the channel with that line up in 91,it was a killer show,didn't knew much of unleashed 'till that day,and the rest is history...

these bands are all great but why are alot of death metal band's logos indistiguishable. I wish i had a nickel for everytime i see a death meatl bands sticker or something and i can't read what the hell it says. i'm sure i'll get bashed for this one.
