best remake ever, i wonder if anyone else can do as good as dave just did

Best remake in my opinion is John Carpenter's-The Thing. If you can think of a better one, Id love to know. Worse remake of all time is definitly House of Wax.The Haunting remake is a close second

GRR!!! Is the Reverend the only other person in this forum with a brain besides me? Can we try and act civilized here? I deal with enough dopes at work.

You insulted my playlist, I am so upset now, haha.... This coming from someone who thinks Chris Barnes is a good vocalist. We all already know that you know nothing about good music, So don't even go there.

I think most remakes these days suck, I have not seen a good remake in a long time, All the new remakes of the old classic horror movies suck, The fog,TCM,House of wax, The hills have eyes(not to bad), I could have done without all of those

Night of The Living Dead
The Thing
The Fly
The Blob
Cape Feare

Those are some of the only good ones I can think of off hand.

The list of bad remakes? That's a BIG subject, but I'll list a few I REALLY hate.

The Fog
The Haunting
The Wicker Man
The Grudge
The Ring Two
Piranha
Wolf
The Mummy

i thought the TCM remake was awesome, and i love the original.

I was a fan of:
Dawn of the Dead (Ving fucking Rhames)
Amityville Horror (How Ryan Reynolds pulled off that part, I'll never know, but he did it well, I thought.)
The Ring (Didn't quite live up to the source material, but it had its moments.)

Yecch:
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Un. Fucking. Necessary. Like the original needed work.)
13 Ghosts (What an utter piece of shit this was. Seriously.)
The Grudge (Ok, I haven't actually seen this one, but a) I hate unnecessary remakes, and b) fucking Sarah Michelle Gellar. I mean, really.)
