How many musicians would be interested in making a viking-black-folk-symphonic metal band in southern NH. Along the lines of falkenbach, Amon Amarth, Moonsorrow, Wyrd, Enslaved, Hollenthon.

I'd play bass, and write most of the lyrics, and hopefully most of the music.

lyrical themes would include: ancient warfare, norse and celtic myths, new england folklore and ghosttales. occult, philosophy, and other cool stuff.

I'm not making one right away, but I want to see if people would want to join something like that, or would go see a band like that.

Sounds cool. I wish I had more time, I would like to get in on this. The 2 band thing just isn't going to happen for me though. Good luck.

I'd be interested in seeing a band like this; if you needed a bassist and my job didn't keep sending me out of the country with little notice, I'd also volunteer in that regard.

i might be up for doing vocals on something like this. i wanted to start a side project similar to this a while ago but didn't have the time.

Sounds like a cool project. I live in Northern MA/Southern NH but I'm not sure I'd have the free time. I could do anything but drums.

well it seems like it wouldn't be to hard to find musicans if I decided to started to get to work on this, think i'll right some basic stuff with some friends and then seek out some dedicated musicans, good to know I can look here.

I was gonna say Id possibly be intersted, seeing how I have 1001 triple lead viking harmonies, that I cant use in HCN.
But then I read further and realized there really is no band....so whats up?

I'm still in school, work full time, have tons of bills, my guitarist moved to florida, my drummer has no where to practice his drum set (lives in an apartment)

but there will be a band in early 07, as soon as we get our taxes back , I'll have money to rent a place, the guitarist will be moving back, and my drummer is buying an electric set to practice with.

the post was mainly to see how many people would be interested, as you see we would still need a singer(s), keyboardist, synths, and any various folk/ orchestra instruments, and another guitarist.
