so yea, as of a few minutes ago I just got my final grades for my last semester at school - and yes, I made the Dean's list. I am, at the very least, happy to be the #3 of 3 of my mom's boys who have graduated from an institution of higher learning.....Am I proud? Fucking-A-right I am...but that is not the question..
The real question is: Was it worth it?

of course. i'll never understand some of these people i graduated HS with who think they can drop right into the workforce and survive for the rest of their life. granted..some people do just fine with only a high school diploma. But even getting just an associates degree greatly improves your chances of landing a good job. I'm heading into the IT sector after college and ive already started building my resume and looking at employers. Literally every place i've looked at mandates that at a bare minimum you need 3 years experience in the field or an associates degree.
