I can't stop listening to Doom metal. I've been blasting Draconian, Drudkh, Endless River, Insomnium, Moonsorrow, November's Doom, The Prophecy, Saturnus, Ufomammut and Vinculum Terminatii.

Any more suggestions?

Drudkh is mid-paced pagan/folk black metal. Very amazing stuff.

I usually over-generalize when I classify music.

Pentagram - essential for any doom fan
Disembowelment - atmospheric death metal/funeral doom
Thor's Hammer - sluggish paced death/doom with impressive growls from a 17 year old girl

Morgion, Shape of Despair, Evoken, Monolithe, Desire (if you can get your hands on it... its fucking amazing stuff and hard to find), Within Tears (again, an OLD project thats hard to get a hold of, although it really is some of the most depressing shit i have ever heard, and doom is one of my favorite genres... i can send you the 5 song ep if you want at some point in time), Officium Triste, Mournful Congregation, Fallen, Thergothon, Shroud of Bereavement, Bohren & der Club of Gore (not exactly a doom METAL band but it is slow, brooding, depressing, and LONG... its as if someone took a jazz band and put them on slow motion... then put them on slow motion again. definitely a must for doom lovers)

Drudkh aren't Doom metal IMO. Great band though.

i cant get into st vitus. although if you know my taste in music, i dont generally care for many "traditional doom" bands.

Skepticism is pretty decent... Winter i dont have much experience with. i also think linking up to doom-metal.com eliminates further band name dropping as pretty much all bands are listed on that site, by doom genre, alphabetically. =)

Daylight Dies- No Reply (This album is a mid-paced soul crushing opus. You'll be surprised just how progressive this band is too.)

Mourning Beloveth- The Sullen Sulcus (Epiccccccccc doom from Ireland)

Fall Of Empyrean- A Darkness Remembered (Emotionally charged doom that'll have you cutting your wrists in no time. A fine release by New Englands own Oak Knoll Records label. )

Wyrd's 'Ghost' the album has taken a doom direction so you might want to check that out as well.
