Holy India what an amazing band. from the 70's. I still only have one song, but if the rest is half as good as it then I am a fan
court of the crimson king.
thoughts on this band? |
this band makes me want to eat weed and smoke percocets. |
yeah but I love that kind of stuff, what would you call it, space rock, pychedelic, I like all that 70s rock heavy with the organs and keyboards |
21st Century Schizoid Man is a masterpiece |

this is an apreesh I can deal with. I too, apreesh KC. |
I just digitized a bunch of KC from my old mans record collection. I don't like all of it but some of it is good especially the first album "in the court of the crimson king". Listen to the song "21st century schizoid man" its a rather sabbathesque proto-metal number. |
I'm a fan of Three of a Perfect Pair, Larks' Tongues in Aspic and In the Court of the Crimson King. Insanely good shit. Robert Fripp, Bill Bruford, Adrian Belew, Pat Mastelotto, so many good musicians in and out of that band. |
I love every one of their albums.
They're all unique.
Regardless, the best one is the first one, which came out in 1969, not the 70s. It was a breakthrough album, and to me, I consider it one of the first "heavy metal" albums of all-time. |
I just downloaded the saxon cover of at the court of the crimson king, freaking awesome. |
Rorschach cover of 21st Century Schizoid Man.... holy shit. I don't know what release it was on, but it's on the discography and it kills. |
