I haven't been able to fall asleep before 5 AM in months.


I absolutely can not.

I just sit here and be bored. It's not like I'm not tired. I just can't sleep.


To make matters worse, no ones ever on RTTP that late except for maybe the rev, so thur aint shit to do.


anyone have any crazy sleep remedies? my doctor won't give me anything stronger than ambien/trazadone and I'm taking more then my perscribed dose. They still don't do shit.

man I have been suffering from this shit ever since I hit puberty. I try to force my self to stay up until I literally drop. Once I am out from just pure exhaustion I can sleep a good 15 hours and start all over again.

usually after intense exhaustion I can sleep no problem, but I played a show last night, and watched/pitted for 5 other bands, and carried all my gear home, and couldn't even close my eyes.

after shows I used to try to get people to hang out until sun up, then stay up for that day since it is already day time. I found that helped me get some sleep. Do you have a hard time waking up once you go to bed? I get violent and everything when people try to wake me up. I think it is because I know how hard it is for me to get to sleep.

i take 3 packets of apple camomile and make half a mug of tea with it.... and then i don tthink about it and im out in a little bit. its actually getting myself into bed thats more of a problem sometimes

stange how the most seemingly unrelated foods can do this.


What used to do the trick for me is two peanut butter sandwiches on white bread and a tall glass of chocolate milk.

it would make me so comfortable feeling and I'd fall right on my ass.

When I worked at three in the morning I would sleep for about 3-4 hours before work then about 4-5 more afterwards.

Now I'm at the point where I have trouble waking up for an 8am class. It's good to be back to normal, I guess.

I went through this shit for a while, mostly cause I had too much going on in my mind at the time, probably stress, the best thing you can do is to calm all of the stresses in your life as best as you can so that you dont worry about them at night, I broke up with my gf and got a new one, and I sleep like a baby every night. Maybe you have a chemical inbalance, don't really know. good luck

i have problems sleeping as well, it takes forever to fall asleep, and i only sleep for 5 or so hours. the marijuana has allowed me to fall asleep fast however.

i actually was reading an article the other day that foods high in fiber and fat, like peanuts trigger some chemical in the brain that allows you to sleep better and longer.. just eat PB toast with warm mik before bed... that usually works if i can't sleep

i'm almost always up until 3 or 3:30. i have assloads of trouble falling asleep. one night i took trazadone and didn't wake up until 1 the next afternoon and i could barely stay awake the rest of the day.

i've had trouble for 15 years or so. lately i've been sleeping well though.
i gave up coffee, no caffeine/nicotine after 8pm, exercise when i get home from work, eat right before i go to bed, and absolutely no internet right before bed.
it seems like a lot, but it's what it takes for me. wine helps too.
