Right now i'm in the process of upgrading my home network to full Gigabit. My laptop has Gigabit support but i'm gonna have to buy Gigabit cards for all my desktops and my media box. Then i'll need to get a Gigabit router. There's a pretty sweet Linksys gaming router with 4 Gig ports and a Gig WAN port plus it's wireless N so if i wanted to use wireless on my laptop it'd be 300Mbps and it also has usb storage ports so i could hook up an external drive and have instant network storage. So that'd make all my internal stuff super fast but then my modem is only 10/100 so i'll have to try to upgrade that. Of course increasing my network speed means i'll have to have more bandwidth and my current 3.0Mbps connection is gonna have to be bumped up. Of course by that time i'm sure there'll be Terabit connections and i'll have to upgrade everything all over again.
