Somebody green-lighted a film adaptation of William Gibson's seminal cyberpunk novel, Neuromancer. Great.

They budgeted it for $70 million, and attached a guy who makes rap videos and commercials for Budweiser and NASCAR, not to mention this piece of shit "The Fast and the Furious" rip-off:
