the first link (g-6) you posted has ssb in it

yeah I'm trying to make an informed decision, the GS350DL and G6 aviator are both $100, and the G5 world traveller is $200 (weird, doesn't seem all THAT different from the others).

went with the Sony ICF-SW7600GR. SSB, supposed to come a power supply, 20 batteries, and an external antenna.
