the problem with eugenics is that people who are proponents of eugenics are detrimental to the advancement of human nature and to the human species as a whole, and therefore what is sought for as the subject of eugenics.

Eugenics does not necessarily involve killing. Most seem to favor an end to welfare state politics, and sterilization of the stupid, criminal, etc.
