Gov Rick Perry = Super Pissed.
ALSO:
“I may run for president of Texas,” Chuck Norris wrote in a column posted at WorldNetDaily. “That need may be a reality sooner than we think. If not me, someone someday may again be running for president of the Lone Star state, if the state of the union continues to turn into the enemy of the state.”

We don't need Texas. Fuck California too. |
LIBERALS ARE RUINING THE NATION BY DOING THE EXACT SAME THING THE CONSERVATIVES WE SUPPORT DID |
EXCEPT BY SPENDING MONEY ON SUBSIDIZING IDIOTS INSTEAD OF ASSERTING WORLD DOMINANCE
ALSO DID NOT THE LIBERALS PROMISE "CHANGE" AND "HOPE"? |
I hope this miserable mess of a country is soon under the intolerant yoke of China and/or Russia. |
Didn't Texas learn the first time they ran away from home and we dragged their dumb asses back? |

I'd love to fight a war with Chuck Norris...I don't think he's as strong as the internet says he is. |
Steven Seagal is way better. |

They seceded in 1861 to join the South, they are now part of the United States. They also asked to be annexed by the US before the Civil War.
The matter of the battles actually fought in Texas is irrelevant since they joined the wrong side. |

They asked to join the United States when they faced a far more numerous Mexican foe. They felt at the time of the Civil War that the United States was not honoring the agreement of incorporation, and dissolved it. |

You're right about that, though one of the reasons Tejas was an independent state was that American immigration was freaking out the Mexican government which led to all that craziness between 1821 and 1842. Kind of ironic considering today's situation.
I really don't have an interest in fighting about Texan flip-floppery though. But Texas did become an independent state again they'd probably have to spend all their resources on anti-immigration and conflicts with the Mexican cartels. |

I have a feeling they'd spend no resources on anti-immigration, and just do away with affirmative action instead, effectively creating ethnic segregation (which quite honestly is what most Hispanics want anyway).
Mexico in 1810-1821 was a much different place than it is now. |
I don't give a damn about Texas, I dare her to secede, and I want to see what would happen, but...it won't happen. |
Mexico would claim it in a second. the drug war would cascade over the border so fast. |
Not with five guns per capita they wouldn't.
If drugs were legalized, these cartels would lose the major commodity fueling their fight over power or territory. They'll have to step up their game in other black market activities, like human trafficking for example. |

That's what I'm saying! I want to see the Rio Grande run red, I don't care who's blood it is. Give 'em hell Texans! |

Legalize human trafficking! Logical answer! |
I've been laughing at these fucking idiots all week.
GOOD. Bye! |
Texas is so passe. When we toured there back in '96, people kept feeding Chuck jalapenos and I developed a fissure. Beastly place. |
