Tis true. I kind of had a sore throat Tuesday, but it went away. Then it came back Thursday in school, and right after school I went to work for 5 hours (outside). About an hour before my shift ended, I started feeling really cold in my lower-mid back area and I became kind of congested. Ever since then I have had a fever, a stupid nose that seems runny but I can't blow anything out of it, and a shitty sore throat. I think I have strep. I should probably go to the doctor and get antibiotics before it spreads and becomes rheumatic fever or nephritis. So I am gonna go tomorrow.

that cold is goign to last about six weeks, my cold comes and goes. Its fucked up Ill feel like I have a fever for half an hour then its gone, and the congestedness every morning,

That sucks. But this cold won't last that long if I get antibiotics (well, that is if it's strep, which I am 95% sure it is).

Yeah, so I am skipping out of school tomorrow to see a doctor, basically just to get a throat culture so he can tell me I have strep. Then I will pick up the perscription and start poppin mad pills nigga.

i have a sinus infection that was weakened by medicine back in january, but it has been back for a couple weeks now with a vengeance. so fuckin hard to get rid of it.

i had a cold all winter.
it's pretty much gone now.

so we can move on to the neverending headache phase.

Ok, I got back from the doctor's about a half hour ago. Here's what happened.

Doctor's appointment. I got there and got weighed and measured. It turns out that since January of this year I have grown 1 and a quarter inches. Strange. Anyway, doctor came in, breathing test, etc. Nurse comes back in, gives me the throat culture. She tells me to wait in the waiting room and it would be about 7 minutes. So I am waiting there with my mom and eventually she comes over and says that the test is negative. Great, now I don't even know what I have. So we are about to leave and the nurse runs out as we are driving through the parking lot. We pulled up next to her and she said the doctor wanted to see my mom. So my mom parks the car, goes in. She came out 10 minutes later with a few pieces of paper in her hand. Apparently the doctor felt that we should figure out whether I have a few more things or not. So we go over to the hospital and I am waiting for 15-20 minutes, then I go into this room and get 3 tubes of blood drawn from me. I guess I am gonna call the doctor's in an hour or two and he will tell me whether I have mono or not. Damn I hope I don't. What a shitty thing to have. Anyway, we went to CVS and got penicillin and some throat spray and then came home.

I just got back from the doctor's too. I gots bronchitis. Which is cool with me, cuz after the way i've felt all week, i was convinced it was that menengitis shit. which one's the bad one? spinal or viral?

Alright everyone, I don't have mono. My mom called the doctor and he basically said that technically it can't be proven yet that I don't have it, but based on the white blood cell count in my blood, he really doesn't think I have it. So it's just some little viral infection. I should be back on my feet in a day or two.

Hahaha yeah it is a relief. I have heard bad bad things about mono. Although, I must admit that the ending to this was rather un-soap opera-like. Maybe I can make up for it by talking with a hispanic accent and cheating on my wife with my stepmom!!!

Retzam I have never ever thought of a Soap plot ever in my life untill you got sick and made a post about it.... Hahahahaha, what did you edit out? More information: I woke up this morning and my ears were hurting pretty bad. I am thinking "Damn it, not an ear infection too!", but then I realize what a shitty day it is. So I went downstairs and checked the barometer: 29.79 inches. Is it me or is that pretty damn low?? My ears don't usually react to drops in pressure, but I guess today was an exception due to my ailment. I have been chewing gum ever since.

Man, this sucks. My right ear popped a while ago, but my left ear still hasn't. Getting aggravated...

Yeah, so it isn't pressure. I kind of realized that by the fact that it STILL hasn't popped, and I realized that average pressure is 29.92, so why would my ears react at only .13 in. below that? My ears aren't sensitive, so, what the hell. It turns out that it probably has something to do with my sinuses being all clogged and shit. They said that if I applied heat to the back of my neck it might help.

Yeah, so here is the final update. I went to the doctor on Tuesday, and he told me it was an ear infection (which I had kind of guessed by then), and he gave me a stronger antibiotic. Today at work, I sneezed and my ear popped! It was like magic.
