This band has lost all appeal to me. Sadly. Blake is fun to party down with though.

i really,really like assassins but this record doesn't do anything for me at all. gave it around a dozen spins because i was really hyped on it and wanted to like it, but the music is just so unaggressive... if it werent for the screamed vocals, it'd sound like some straight up brett michaels bullshit. which in turn makes the screaming seem out of place and laughable. and the progressive parts feel tired and disingenuous.
to each their own, i'm glad you guys are enjoying it. but to my ears it just doesn't flow. on the other hand, the new altar of plagues ep is pretty soul shattering, and the new lantlos album is shaping up to be pretty killer.
