For those of you still being gay and not listening to Godflesh, this is your chance to remedy that. holy shit does this sound incredible. i feel the same way i did about the Slow, Deep and Hard remaster, it was so necessary. this made one of the top heaviest albums ever recorded even heavier. so much is brought out in the mix that was lost in the first release, vocal layering, the thunderous bass is 10x more thunderous, this breathed new life into these songs. my first thought was "holy fuck i can actually hear Like Rats!". the feedback at the end of "Head Dirt" is ear-piercing now, everything is crystal clear and SO LOUD. JK did the remaster too, which i think is awesome because no one could know his music better than him. the Tiny Tears tracks are amazing, "Wound" is so devastating. do yourself a favor and buy this, it is the soundtrack to our future. a machine-driven apocalyptic wasteland, now a million times louder. it comes with a second disc of unreleased versions of the same songs, original mixes, rehearsals, live recordings. They are cool, but nothing really spectacular, the sound is pretty bad on a few of them, and the live stuff doesn't sound all that great, his voice is awful. the 12 minute version of "Pulp" isn't as cool as it sounds, you can't really hear anything aside from the non-stop machine beat. otherwise this is a must-have for any GF fan, and those looking to step into the abyss.

I've been trying to find this at Newbs. Need. If I can hear "Dead Head" not sound like mudbutt I could die a halfway happy man.

I want no association with people who don't listen to Godflesh.

dude "Dead Head" is magical. you can't believe what was lost in the original release. the bass line in "Life Is Easy" is unreal.

it's weird how i've listened to that album more times than i could possibly count, i got it on cassette tape in 96, and hearing this version of it was really exciting, like listening to it for the first time again.

Same here. I got it on cd just for those "Tiny Tears" tracks. I HATE U 4 BEING TOO DESCRIPTIVE!
