nice. i'll be doing this before the show. too bad Wormtown beer isn't very good at all.

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Mar 7,2011 3:35pm
i like wormtown's blonde cougar ale.

toggletoggle post by reimroc at Mar 7,2011 3:51pm
somebody better introduce a metal themed beer called "do a ritual" or i will be severely disappointed.

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Mar 7,2011 4:51pm
NO U

toggletoggle post by scmfck at Mar 7,2011 7:31pm
wormtown beers taste like fairly mediocre craft beers that someone watered down and then served....through dirty lines.

a beer festival before a pot festival?

dangerous would be an understatement

hmm $25 to get into a sub par beer fest that most likely wont have any free beer beyond a few samples. no thanks. seemed like a good idea till i read who was gonna be there for brewers.

LOL at the "craft brewers" listed for this event.

weaksauce.

toggletoggle post by ark at Mar 8,2011 10:06am
there's enough good brewers to make me want to go, but they don't seem to be out front about the beer you would be able to drink...which means it won't be much.

toggletoggle post by c00t dad at Mar 8,2011 10:07am
omg u like beer?

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Mar 8,2011 10:08am
my friend is actually helping put this together. i'll forward her any suggestions you guys have to make this a better festival.

toggletoggle post by ark at Mar 8,2011 10:21am
for the $25 admission i'd like some ALMOST FREE BEER!

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Mar 8,2011 10:22am edited Mar 8,2011 10:23am
i want completely free beer

toggletoggle post by josh_hates_you  at Mar 8,2011 10:36am
Berkshire Brewing Company, D L Geary Brewing Company, Long Trail Brewing Company,Otter Creek Brewing Company, Shipyard Brewing Company, Sierra Nevada, Smuttynose Brewing Company

this is the list for me. some of the others are ok if there is nothing else at that particular store/bar.

problem is all of this stuff is readily available everywhere. nothing out of the ordinary for a beer snob like myself. there are tons of new things here for a Budweiser drinker to try out. If all of these companies had a spring/summer offering for sample at this event it might start to make it a little more appealing.

lately i have been drinking Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout, BBC Coffeehouse Porter, Young's Double Chocolate Stout, Troegs Brothers Java Head Stout and HopBack Amber Ale

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Mar 8,2011 10:40am
i've only had a sip of that Brooklyn Black Chocolate. fucking delicious

toggletoggle post by josh_hates_you  at Mar 8,2011 10:51am
delicious and dangerous at 10%

only getting lost and taking 2 hours to walk home from a bar I live 7 minutes away from is real...........

toggletoggle post by ark at Mar 8,2011 10:51am
haha

toggletoggle post by Alx_Casket  at Mar 8,2011 11:02am
I am confused. What does the $25 admission get you?

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Mar 8,2011 11:09am
theres a FB event link. i suggest posting questions on there.

toggletoggle post by ark at Mar 8,2011 11:35am
I DON'T KNOW WHAT A FB EVENT LINK IS. I WANT BEEER

toggletoggle post by arktouros at Apr 19,2011 2:00pm
double header for you, good man.

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Apr 19,2011 4:26pm
ya i'm gonna be a mess by the end but it'll be totally worth it.

toggletoggle post by josh_hates_you  at Apr 19,2011 4:29pm
you only get 10 drink tickets to this then additional tickets may be purchased. lame.

the one in providence was all you can drink.

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Apr 19,2011 4:31pm
ya i know. it is what it is. theres other things going at this event besides just the beer tasting.

toggletoggle post by Slag NLI at Apr 19,2011 4:56pm
There were only a few breweries @ this to interest me. Too pricey.

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Apr 19,2011 5:09pm edited Apr 19,2011 5:09pm
completely understandable. only doin this for band exposure. Julio's beer tastings ftw.

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Apr 25,2011 1:16pm edited Apr 25,2011 1:16pm
This was a great time despite being loosely run for the first year. I think next years will be much better though. Still was packed and we got a play for a very receptive audience. Also free beer!
