I don't know who you're talking about. The gentleman I refer to was a pleasant chap who just wanted everyone to stop playing music and buying drinks from his bar so he could listen to his business fail in tranquil silence.
My room mates band played PA's last night with Hivesmasher. He said they didn't even make it through the door with their gear before that bald asshole flipped out on everyone over nothing.
Sportscenter highlights:
1. Keith goosing the singer of Full of Hell (who I thought ruled, even if the theatrics were a little much for me).
2. Super awkward PT-109 guy cutting through Hirudinea while they were playing.
3. Taking a shit in the women's bathroom the one and only time an actual girl has ever used it.
There was a guy in a green shirt and kind of long hair that had been being super weird all night. During one of the last Hirudinea songs he was in the back of the room and decided he wanted to leave. So he went up to the front of the crowd, thought better of walking through the floor with everyone moving around, then went up on the mini-stage, behind Mike, slowly sidled his way across the drums, and turned around to see the whole room wondering what he was doing and gave a casual 'scuuuse me movement and walked off the stage and out of the room.

Dude looked like a ROADSAW fan or something equally Allstonian...

I missed Vaettir and Vestiges when I went and picked up my girlfriend and a coworker of hers.
DL'ed Vestiges album today and I'm sort of kicking myself for missing that.

who drove me home frm this? I asked notshaver and he said 'i doont even remember seeing you'
I caught the touring bands out here yesterday. Vestiges insane gear overpowered the practice space they played in, and ultimately after two failed attempts they had to plug half the gear into outlets in another room. Once they started playing they were solid. More than "crusty black metal" they reminded me of "post hardcore" with some "black metal" riffs. I dug it though. Full of Hell were kind of silly, mostly entertaining. Singer's antics weren't my cup of tea, and seemed out of place for the sound, but whatever, they were decent. Would much rather have been at the Boston show.
