Finally saw this on vinyl on my lunch break, so I grabbed it. Hadn't listened at all yet until today, holy shit this record kind of kills! Pentagram circa 73 remains the influence, with the Vertigo swirl effect throughout, but these songs and the overall sound are much stronger than their decent first album. Deserves to be heard, and I hope they will come back to the US to support it!

Oh, I meant to log in for that comment. so now I'm logged in and still don't get your point. I have enough time and good enough taste to listen to "real classic shit" and still enjoy Graveyard, Witchcraft, Blood Ceremony, Uncle Acid and plenty of other "retro" bands. not an either/or situation.

Exactly. Listening to shit that sounds like classic shit is okay, but in a sense kind of just wrong. We all know the originals do it better, we just trick ourselves into thinking that we need new things. Graveyard, yeah I hear them and think they ain't bad.

Then I smarten up and realize they ain't bad because they're copping on all the stuff that came before that was truly awesome and unique at the time it came out.
