I am the supposed "idiot" who booked this show. If you have a problem with it, I highly suggest you speak to me in person regarding your concerns. We book bands based on how their music sounds and whether or not they will fit on a show. I don't do an extensive background check or research the political ideologies of all band members. This never seemed to be an issue when Eric was in Eternal Embrace. I'm not aware of his personal views, and unless the band went on stage wearing swastikas and dressed in klan outfits, I could care less.

Josh, I respect your opinion, but I believe this band has already played MT for the FOB cd release ( I was not there) ....show I hear they got a good response too. Honestly, I went to see them about a month ago, and I was shocked at first listen, but after a few moments, I actually liked what they were doing. They were actually doing something different, and that I liked. I don't know Ray too well aside from maybe a few small conversations (he did some artwork for us) with him, he seemed like an ok guy to me, no nazi rants there anyways. My point is, Josh, what you like may not be what others like, and like adults, we all should respect eachothers opinions and their individual preferences in musical taste and political views.
Eric is a great guy, and best of luck to him and his new band.
It was a Faces of Bayon show at Oasis, not Metal Thursday and not the cd release show. I wasn't there either but I heard that they didn't go over to well and the venue was rather displeased with the mess they left behind from their on stage shit show. Faces of Bayon most likely didnt enjoy playing on a stage covered in broken props left behind by Inverticrux either. From the video's I saw the music wasn't the worst ever but not something I would actually enjoy. The vocals are just plain terrible, I don't care how open minded you are. Again in comparing them to graveside service originality doesn't always count for anything.
I never said I didn't respect anyone else's opinions. I simply expressed my own. I will be enjoying a Ralph's burger during this band. Look forward to checking out Dark passenger, though. The video I saw was good stuff.

As far as the mess, I didn't know that, and I thought it was a MT show, sorry for the mix up. I guess we'll have to see how it goes. I should hope they won't be doing that at Ralph's, especially knowing 3 other bands will be sharing the stage (including mine). No butthurt here man, i'm just bumping the show up top so people like yourself will continue bumping it, so I in turn can have a decent crowd to play to.
too bad bumping threads doesn't actually increase show attendence. if anything overbumping a thread makes people ignore it like spam. then they forget about the show entirely and see the review the next day.
well, it is tomorrow, doing my part as an act on this show. If I over bumb, ohh well, I tried. I never did " bump analysis", but I think over the years, it has helped attendance to the shows I had played. Who knows though really, it's very hit or miss in this scene of ours. I have played sold out shows and ones with 3 people in attendance.
Everyone liked Inverticrux. Even Josh watched them sans hamburger... No antifa. No one is racist. Hessian is awesome! This show is great so far, and it's only going to get better.

I think everyone was guilty of that. Every single band took an extra 10-15 minutes, and I wasn't very good at nagging people. We were all having too much fun.

Pissed I couldn't make this, I was looking forward to seeing Anti-fun in "action." You can usually tell anti-racists from the stink-lines over them, intentional holes in the clothes with no patches but lots of patches of bands that suck where there were no holes, etc.
I think everyone had tuning issues that night, the humidity was aweful, and we were way out of tune also. One downfall to having neck through guitars mid summer.
Heh heh I was actually just tired from the show and all the herb throughout the night... I only ended up drinking half that big bottle and stopped before our set at 11:45, after that I just gave the rest to everyone else. Good thing too, if I had drank that whole thing to my head I'd probably still be there haha.
