I love the Beatles, I know some people don't like them, that's cool. But what do Y'ALL think of people that say they don't get why the Beatles are good/important. I jammed with a dude this weekend who said "yea, I ain't playing any Beatles songs, I just don't get what the big deal is"

I never understand when people shit on the Beatles.
Yea, early on they had some cheesy boy-band songs. But for the amount of time they were a band, they progressed leaps and bounds and changed rock music. Fuck the haters.

i don't like the White album as much as it's hyped to be. i think it has some filler on it, however when they hit, they hit. i love the early poppier Beatles, like Please Please Me and A Hard Day's Night.
