Just wanted to say how killer these bands are, Rob writes rediculous shit. One of the more unique bands in New England, metal really, and criminally under known in the metal world.

I think I'm going to finally see them next saturday, which I'm ashamed to say I haven't yet even though I'm a mainer.

saw shabti once, very talented frontman.

I've always enjoyed shabti... From what I remember though, they've always had a hard time finding a permanent drummer? I have one of their releases and the package is pretty unique.

I wish Shabti got down here more often, they seem to play in Portland mostly. Not familiar with Kurixis, will check later.

Kurixis was the precurser to Shabti, basically same style, same songwriter. worth tracking down their demos and buried days, awesome stuff.

Played with them last year in Portland. They kick major ass.
