Ok so I got something special here. This is my bacchus wood line bass with mods and a very unique pick guard. She's a players piece go her dings and buckle rash and the stain is worn out here in there but nothing horrible I think it's beautiful and if your into relic jobs this is for you. As for mods she's got a hipshot b style bridge added and an east retro deluxe pre which is the best preamp out there I'll never be able to use anything else again as it allows me to dial in any tone I could think of it's uncanny how versatile it is. It has stock bacchus pickups in it which I think sound very similar to Nordstrand nj5 pups very beefy very responsive. The pick guard is something very unique on it's own.its a clear guard and underneath I cut out a sheet of blotter paper with some old painting of hell and demons and crazy looking stuff. I always get complimented on how unique and bad a$$ it looks. This also could be taken out if it's not your thing. Right now she's string with optima gold strings which If you've used them before you know the deal as they could be the last set of strings you'll ever buy. As for specs she's a very comfortable 35" (think lakland) body is light weight swamp ash neck is maple with an bound and blocked ebony board. Ok so now for the catch, she took a dive one night and the back of the head stock cracked in a few spots. It has in no way affected playability nor sound. I was quoted by a local luthier that it was completely fixable and would have only cost me $150 and take 3-5 days so not bad at all I just haven't done it. And lastly the bridge on it now did not cover the old ones mounting holes so there's 4 holes near it. So over all with her "flaws" I still will say she's ranked in my top 3 favorite basses ever played never mind owned the sound weight everything is amazing. So with all this said these new are about $1400 new and with the bridge ($80) and pre ($350) this bass is a steal at $1000. I can take more pics if you want let me know. And I'm selling this because it's to much bass for me right now in my life I'm not playing out anymore and I'm working on having a family so letting her sit around is just a waste of something special. Thanks for looking here's the craigslist link for pics:http://nh.craigslist.org/msg/4533372660.html
