Basically Jersey is very money hungry and there are very few people who arent part of some monopolistic (even a word?) booking company that just want to book shows for the love of the music

i'm from Jersey. the best bet to play a show here was the Birch Hill in Old Bridge, but unfortunatey they closed down over a year ago. other places that book shows are Connections in Clifton, The Wreck Room, i believe it's in East Rutherford though i'm not 100% sure on that. The Starland Ballroom in Sayerville i think. and Obsessions in Randolf. try to avoid Obsessions because the venue fucking blows as far as sound and the guy running it, but there have been some decent shows there.
