Anyone hear any rumors about the lineup for this years New England Metal and Hardcore Fest? Confirmed bands, dates, price, ect?

Not just that, but the Springfield Rock Fest. Last year, it took place in the beginning of April, not very far off. Anything confirmed about that?

yeah, last year was all metalcore. id like the lineup to be more diverse this year. its looking to turn out that way, though.

so far the lineup looks good this year

I'm still kicking myself over the fact that I missed Nevermore in 2003, when they played with Chris Broderick appearantly...jesus fucking christ...

I'd like metal fest this year to feature more METAL bands and less metalCORE bands. The only band I could dig on Sunday was Between the Buried and Me...the rest were just kind of meh to me. They all sounded the same with the same lame chugging breakdowns. I mean, maybe I'm forgetting a few...oh well. No other bands really left an impression on me that I can recall at the moment though.

SONATA ARCTICA this year though...thats enough, I have to go and throw flower pedals in the audience while they play "The Cage" and "The Power of One"...and happy mosh.

Obituary & Moonspell too

Moonspell's playing again this year?

toggletoggle post by Joe/NotCommon   at Jan 16,2005 8:18pm
I have no idea who NightWish is, not a big fan of Cryptopsy's later stuff.
Obituary is okay, no idea who Moonspell is.
