They cancelled my show on feb 26th because they decided they don't want to do metal shows. Apparantly it's been cancelled for a while but they forgot to tell me until recently, and they know one band is on tour. I don't see why they couldn't let their shows booked happen and just not book anymore metal.

I need to find a new place for this show, if it stays on the 26th I am looking towards Worcester so it can take place after Morbid Angel is done, but while Soulfly is playing.

If I do go to that show though I'm definitely staying to see how bad Soulfly are boo'd.

It is a 2 band tour, Morbid Angel is opening, Soulfly is headlining.

I can't believe it. How is that even possible? It's like booking a tour of Devil Driver and Judas Priest with Devil Driver headlining.

Another year and Devil Driver will be headlining like that, why you ask? Because Americans are fucking dumb and for some reason eat up overhomogenized music, and any form of entertainment for that matter.

SEPULTURA and MORBID ANGEL both formed around '84, so it makes sense that SOULFLY headlines (not to mention album sales). I have never seen SOULFLY, and frankly, I don't care how much old SEPULTURA they play, it's a worthless gesture. Besides, I really doubt they're busting out real classics like "Antichrist", "Crucifixion" or "Escape To The Void".

Anyway, that's very gay about Evo's, I thought the ABHORRED/NOOSEBOMB show last month did pretty well for them and there wasn't any real mayhem, unless you count Allison Martin breaking a glass on the way out.

I booked a show at the Gloucester Art Space once before, I thought they closed.

Evo's? If it's the same-ish place I once saw in Somerville it's a total farty crafts collective, I can't imagine them ever having a show except for Indigo Girls!

Cruelty Divine played my show there, never in the history of music did a band ever stick out so bad as you guys did that night! it was great
