They sure beat Joe what with doing the soundtrack to Manchester's MOST X-TREME PRO RASSLIN FEDERATION! It's not like Joe's label released a series of great albums, got a glowing review from digitalmetal, or got distributed by Relapse. Oh wait, that's exactly what happened.

At least Wretched Asylum has all of its members formulating promotional ideas and spent most of its time forming street teams which should come in handy once they learn not to suck beyond belief.

I think Joe has done well for metal...I have more than a few of his releases...

This band's gimmick seems kinda lame to me and the songs are spotty. Some parts I really don't like and some seem ok, nothing that I could say I'm genuinely into though...

I'm not gonna go off against them, but I can say i'm annoyed that (from what I've seen checking out BSR really quickly) they shit-talk about Porphyria and Notcommon bands, seeing as I think Porphyria and the Notcommon bands are fucking awesome.

i think it started before that. they were always a shitty band. so everyone hated them. then there was something that went on w/ them and joe n/c. then one of their friends made the todd b/s quote and that's what really set it off i think.

one thing i love about this whole "battle" is whenever anyone takes a shot at WA from a talent/musicianship prospective all anyone ever says is "you're just jealous" or, "all your bands sound the same..blah blah blah" its funny that even they realize that they are just a gimick

I realized that this band is basically everything I hate about music, rolled up in a nice half assed package, words, emotions and actions will never express how much I hate them. I think me and Ben need to start up a tribute band....

Does anyone else find it hilarious that st1gma knows nothing about music? When she first came onto this site she "insulted" all of us by calling us
"emo-fag posers" or whatever. After many of us pointed out that we were not emo she left, probably googled "death metal" and now looks down upon death/grind as being unmelodic repititive crap. Perhaps her google search only turned up Six Feet Under. Still the idea of death or grind being unmelodic or tuneless is the most retarded thing I've ever heard. Aren't most grind songs a short burst of a really catchy riff or series of riffs? That's what I remember from being in a short lived grind band.
