Victory Records and Bury Your Dead Announce Live Album To Release July
12th

Since signing to Victory in 2004, Bury Your Dead released "Cover Your
Tracks" to great critical acclaim, stormed the country on tour and built
a loyal horde of metal and hardcore fans who pack their shows across the
country. The buzz continues to grow, with the video for "The Color Of
Money" spinning on MTV2's Headbanger's Ball and "Magnolia" on the
soundtrack to The Cave this summer, and a slot on Ozzfest's second stage
for the summer of 2005, which they will share with the likes of
Killswitch Engage and Mastodon. In addition, Bury Your Dead will be
bringing their tight, thunderous live show straight to stereos this
summer with the release of their first live album on July 12th!

The album, as yet untitled, will be produced as a DualDisc with audio
and DVD footage with a very special digipack that must be seen to be
believed. Paul Minor (Death By Stereo, Atreyu, Terror) will be handling
the audio when they record at Chain Reaction in Southern California on
May 10th, and the legendary videographer and filmmaker Darren Doane will
be filming the show. "We couldn't feel better prepared, "commented
bassist Rich Casey, "with Paul and Darren at our backs we know its going
to be smoking hot!"

Stay tuned for track listing, cover art and the album title - they will
be announced shortly. For tour dates, music, videos and more, visit

BYD is a perfect expample of a live band.

a live recording isnt exactly something that is going to showcase their better qualities.

I would have to agree on you there. I think their records fall a little flat from what the live experience is.
