ok, transmitter is broadcasting... but its hack job and can't be turned off from the station.
two things I learned.
1) if you have hit your head on something everytime you've been somewhere, put something on it to make that it is hard and made of solid copper.
2) when installing fiberglass screens, wear gloves.
