i was talking with neuraxis last night, and a few bands they said were confirmed make the fest worth it, to me at least...hopefully it's not 3 drawn out days of crappy metalcore with a handful of good bands...necrophagist, neuraxis, cryptopsy, alarum, arsis, exodus and immolation were some of the bands they mentioned. i really hope they're all confirmed

Iced Earth should do another 2 hour set...that'd rule

The Absense are also confirmed, date unknown...

it will be about a month until they announce it... someone told me the "big" secret and reason why, but I forgot what it was! but I remember thinking people were going to be mad about it (like KD last year) cause then people would "have to" go.

i think the big secret should be to lock the doors when its full and blow it up, that would solve SOOOOO many problems

this will be my first year since 2001 not covering this fest for Metal Maniacs...it was always a loser financially and just stopped being fun. I mean, each year had highlights regardless but as a whole, nah.

ha, this fest has gotten progressively more lame for at least the past 3 years, unless there's a really good reason I might not even go this year. It's not even a metal and hardcore fest anymore, it's a shitty metalcore fest
