I found an old pearl dr 80 drum rack in my friends basement and got it ...thought I had all the parts . wrong. I am missing the bolts or screws that connect the rack legs to the rack itself..I searched the pearl site and ebay for a few hours and couldnt find nothing.
Anyone know where to get these???

Tomorrow a stupid bass guitar question!!

thanks.

Go to your local drum shop.

I wish there was a local drum shop, the music store in my town is filled with people that just know stuff about old 60's guitars...They are useless for anything else. I will call how ever and see if they will order them... anyone have any online solutions?

possibly look on brand name drum websites, Pearl, Ludwig, DW etc, for miscellanious or small parts. or email their customer service representatives. they might know

Where do you live?

Pearl should have diagrams on their site giving the breakdown of the hardware and part numbers for individual components. Then you just tell the music store what parts you need because Pearl supposedly doesn't deal with the customer directly. But call them up, who knows.

And also, if you do go to a drum shop, a lot of the time they'll have spare parts, or replacement parts that will work. They usually give them away free if you're a regular customer.

go to their website pearl drum.

make a post saying that the original bolts some how went missing, the the mod there (hook) may very well mail you the parts at pearl's expense.

They take care of their customers very well.

Pearl doesn't deal with customers directly. It's pretty gay. I tried calling to see if I could order shorter mounting posts for my middle two toms (I'm a midget), no one would even talk to me. They only deal with replacements, not with ordering new parts, which means you need to ship them something for them to even talk to you.

In general, I've been very dissapointed with my peals. Especially those fucking tom mounts. I too would really like to get a rack, so I can mount my toms lower and still keep them as flat as I like them.

Pete, next time try hitting up the forum and talking to the mod there. I've never paid for any replacement parts from pearl, even if they've been my fault.
Their telephone customer service is a joke and so aren't most of their dealers.

And Pete, did you get the message I left you on your phone?

Yeah, I got your message. I'm just not sure I can do it. I'm pretty in debt at priority, I gotta go up there and pay him like $800. I've gotta get all that straightened out first.
