Who u people think is gonna with the Gold medal in mens hockey? Heres my medal picks:


Gold-Russia
Silver-Canada
Bronze-Finland


Ya I know I didnt pick the USA to win any medals.But their inferior compared to the other teams.

Gold - Canada
Silver - Sweden
Bronze - Czech

USA has it's stars but just can't compete with the other giants. Slovakia is a dark horse too. The USA vs. Slovakia game was fucking awesome. I love how there are no commercials during the periods. And the women's games are way to uneventful and slow for hockey.

i've watched a few games. i like what i've seen from sweden, finland, and russia. canada has been shutout a couple times. i don't think they'll win gold, but if they don't win at least a bronze, heads will be a-rollin'.

The US team has the stars... from the 90's. They are too old. Next Olympics, they'll have TONS of young kids that will play 3-4 Olympics over their careers and help the US win a gold in at least one of them. Phil Kessel is going to be next years Sidney Crosby. Mark it down.

But this team, there's just NO scoring. When Brian Gianta and Scott Gomez are your 1-2 punch, you're in trouble.

I dont see either North American team winning medals. Both teams have had trouble with the basics breaking out of their own end, bad passes, etc. Europeans are tape to tape tighter all the way down. They score more organized goals, not shitty deflections...
