Am I the only one that dreams about this at least once a week? This would be the fucking best, I have a couple bootleg videos and its awesome, but its not the same. I was too young during their era and didn't know anyone else who was into it....

Something else that would possibly stand in the way would be getting Steer back in. He's doing firebird right now, but maybe if he realizes how much his vocals suck in firebird he'll do the carcass thing just for fun.
All I ask for is one final WORLD TOUR (inc. North America obviously) and at least 2 shows in the northeast. We should start a petition and send it to ammott once all the sig's are on it.

I agree, they had a few good songs after Symphonies, but their cds as a whole can't compare. |

all the tr00 people can't say heartwork is good just because they weren't playing the straight up gore-grind stuff anymore, or its not cool to like them anymore because they're not TRU0000....who the fuck cares? Its not like they threw away metal and started playing grunge shows with Nirvana...
heartwork imho is a metal masterpiece and has shaped many bands to this day.

Tom i agree with you there that heartwork is an excellent album in all senses, and that there is nothing wrong with progression. I just liked Symphonies and reek better. In full if there was no carcass there wouldnt be many bands that are around today |

Oh shit, I completely forgot about Necrotism, that was a great album. Tools of The Trade was good too. Heartwork definately had some good songs on it also but I don't think it can compare to SoS or RoP, but still a good album. But Swansong I just thought really sucked. Even if another band that didn't start out goregrind released it I still wouldn't listen to it. |

They should (if at all possible, which I doubt) Re-mix Reek Of Putrefaction. You can tell there are a lot of great riffs and nice grooves in there that got lost and became unaudiable. With a better studio that album would of been 100 times better than it already is. I know a lot of people say that the raw sound is what's so great about that cd, but you can't really tell whats going on most of the time unless you listen really hard. |

My favorite Carcass albums would follow this order: Symphonies, Reek/Flesh ripping sonic torment demo, Heartwork. Necroticism has some cool parts throughout the album, but as a whole, I just couldn't get into it. Swansong was just ridiculous, so I won't even count that as a Carcass album. |

I never really understood why people don't like Swansong. I mean, I know that it's different, but what is bad about it? When I first heard it, all I could think of was how awesome it was... and I had listened to Symphonies and Heartwork a good deal by that point.
I'm just curious, what do people actually not like about Swansong? Is it just too radical a jump or something? |

Wages Of Sin was great though. Angela's voice could be the only reason for someone who likes Heartwork to not like Wages Of Sin. I havn't heard 4nthemz uv [backwards R]ebellion, but I hear horrible things, hence my spelling of it. |
