Another good album from Ghoul. I was hoping for a year's best contender, and I don't think it's quite that good, but still.

New Ghoul is cause for celebration.

toggletoggle post by Joe/NotCommon   at Jun 8,2006 12:13pm
it's funny you should mention Ghoul....i've said to much

toggletoggle post by RichHorror  at Jun 8,2006 12:13pm
Joe, you're dead. DEAD.

toggletoggle post by DrinkHardThrashHard  at Jun 8,2006 12:14pm
Seriously...when?

toggletoggle post by RichHorror  at Jun 8,2006 12:14pm
No. No. No more words or I put my checkbook away.

toggletoggle post by DrinkHardThrashHard  at Jun 8,2006 12:15pm
I'm confused now as to whether I should continue begging to play with Bolt Thrower or beg to play with Ghoul instead.

toggletoggle post by RichHorror  at Jun 8,2006 12:16pm
Bolt Thrower.

toggletoggle post by DrinkHardThrashHard  at Jun 8,2006 12:16pm
Right-o.

toggletoggle post by Joe/NotCommon   at Jun 8,2006 12:17pm
The Bolt Thrower tour has been postponed, not sure until when. Robin might have more information on that.

toggletoggle post by DrinkHardThrashHard  at Jun 8,2006 12:18pm edited Jun 8,2006 12:18pm
I am crushed. Grindcrushed.

I'm actually going to try booking a gig here in Methuen with some pretty big oldschool thrash names. Wish me luck.

toggletoggle post by RichHorror  at Jun 8,2006 12:18pm
Welcome to my world of never getting on the big shows.

toggletoggle post by DrinkHardThrashHard  at Jun 8,2006 12:19pm
I will rectify this situation soon.

toggletoggle post by Joe/NotCommon   at Jun 8,2006 12:19pm
Wargasm, Nuclear Assault and DRI?

toggletoggle post by DrinkHardThrashHard  at Jun 8,2006 12:20pm edited Jun 8,2006 12:26pm
Nope. Though that would be kickass too. Basically a few bands I speak to that have never been around here, at least not for a long long time.

I could swear one of the guys from Wargasm was on here saying they weren't ever playing again, otherwise I would love to set up a gig like:

Meliah Rage
Wargasm
CSDO
Extinction Agenda
Dissector
The Bludgeoning
+1 more maybe (IWEIPH if they wanted?)

That would be unbelievable.

White Hightops REQUIRED for all in attendance.

toggletoggle post by RichHorror  at Jun 8,2006 12:21pm
I am intrigued and psyched.

toggletoggle post by Revocation at Jun 8,2006 12:29pm
I ordered my Splatterthrash CD a few days ago. I'm hoping it will come today.

toggletoggle post by DrinkHardThrashHard  at Jun 8,2006 12:30pm
Hey, you gotta post some tunes up on MySpace. Are you playing a lot of the same CW material?

toggletoggle post by RichHorror  at Jun 8,2006 12:30pm
Yes, IWEIPH would want.

toggletoggle post by chris_from_shit_fuck  at Jun 8,2006 12:30pm
Shit Fuck would love to play with Ghoul and or any band for that matter, especially Michael Bolton.

toggletoggle post by DrinkHardThrashHard  at Jun 8,2006 12:32pm
I guess we could actually try and set that up without Wargasm. Maybe Eric CSDO will read this and coax Meliah Rage out of their semi-retirement or whatever the hell it is.

How about:

Nuclear Assault
Meliah Rage
Wargasm
CDSO
Dissector
Extinction Agenda
The Bludgeoning
IWEIPH

18+, white high-tops required for entry.

I'd pay $50 to see that. I bet CSDO could set that up.

toggletoggle post by DrinkHardThrashHard  at Jun 8,2006 12:33pm
Toss on Shit Fuck, we could call it T(h)rash Filth Fest or something like the Germans say.

toggletoggle post by eddie  at Jun 8,2006 12:51pm
i'm gonna go listen to my meliah rage record now.

toggletoggle post by Morbid_Mike at Jun 8,2006 12:54pm
Ok I have listened to Ghoul for sometime and I am quite sure the NEW line up is much different then the old but I can safely say that the Manixe line up had atleast one member if not all of the members of the legendary death metal band Impaled in it anyone else agree I have done much research over many years to find out the mystery of the almighty GHOUL!

toggletoggle post by DrinkHardThrashHard  at Jun 8,2006 12:55pm
Impaled are definitely involved in Ghoul, as well as other bands on Razorback.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jun 8,2006 12:57pm
that show would be the greatest show no one ever went to... except to see wargasm.
I saw nuclear assault with like 30-40 people at club 125 a few years ago. everyone left after kretor

toggletoggle post by RichHorror  at Jun 8,2006 12:58pm
Aaron, are you insane?! IWEIPH alone would bring 2-3 people!

toggletoggle post by DrinkHardThrashHard  at Jun 8,2006 12:58pm edited Jun 8,2006 1:01pm
I've seen Nuclear Assault play to close to 1,000 people.

It could happen again. At least to a few hundred (plus the 2-3).

1. Market it properly. Market it to the right people. Market it in advance.
2. Put it on a date where there aren't 40 gajillion other metal shows.
3. Do not allow The Goodnight Flight to play.

toggletoggle post by Revocation at Jun 8,2006 1:02pm
Naw we are playing all new material with the exception of 2 songs that we haven't recorded. We plan to record a 3 song demo late July.

toggletoggle post by DrinkHardThrashHard  at Jun 8,2006 1:02pm
Sweet, can't wait to hear it.

toggletoggle post by DrinkHardThrashHard  at Jun 8,2006 1:04pm
We could try and trick Sully Erna into bringing a few hundred Godsmack fans and US. troops, as long as they pay at the door who cares if they run away screaming from Rich.

Word I'm looking forward to checking out you guys too. I really dug the tunes you got on myspace.

If you have a gmail dude I can send you all the good .mp3s from the final master of the demo. MySpace only has two of the four tracks, and that was the old mix.

toggletoggle post by Dissector   at Jun 8,2006 1:17pm
The new Ghoul cd shreds! I actually like it more than Maniaxe. At first I just thought it was good, but the second listen I really started to love it.

Joe, if you get Ghoul to play please make 18+, or have Dissector play. I just want to see them.

toggletoggle post by DrinkHardThrashHard  at Jun 8,2006 1:18pm
There is no question that Dissector should be playing with Ghoul. Or else a space-time paradox will open up and destroy us all.

toggletoggle post by Revocation at Jun 8,2006 1:18pm
Thanks dude! Here ya go revocationband@gmail.com

toggletoggle post by pam nli at Jun 8,2006 2:12pm
Love Ghoul, must get this.

toggletoggle post by iren_the_viking   at Jun 8,2006 3:20pm

toggletoggle post by RichHorror  at Jun 8,2006 3:21pm

Ross Sewage is in Ghoul

SplatterThrash is awesome!

toggletoggle post by Phillip  at Jun 8,2006 10:13pm
Im listening to it for the first time right now
Ghoul owns my soul!!

toggletoggle post by DrinkHardThrashHard  at Jun 8,2006 10:14pm
It's a good record, no doubt. I just like some of the riffs on the last on better, but hey, this one has more songs.

toggletoggle post by Granny_Monster at Jun 9,2006 5:49pm
ooooOOOOOOOOoooooo!!!

toggletoggle post by Revocation at Jun 9,2006 5:55pm
I got this today. Pretty good stuff i liked Maniaxe better though. The cd layout is pretty awesome.

toggletoggle post by Granny_Monster at Jun 9,2006 6:12pm
Splatterthrash is fantastic, and I'm all about Maniaxe... but what about We Came For The Dead? Definitely my favorite Ghoul album.

toggletoggle post by Joe/NotCommon   at Jun 23,2006 10:25am
Ghoul@doomandgrindfest

toggletoggle post by DrinkHardThrashHard  at Jun 23,2006 11:28am
I too like Maniaxe the most. The riffs, man, the RIFFs.

toggletoggle post by hung_to_bleed   at Jun 23,2006 12:02pm
I definitely like We Came for the Dead the best, however, the new Ghoul is certainly a cause for celebration...

toggletoggle post by DrinkHardThrashHard  at Jun 23,2006 4:08pm
The RIFFS man.

toggletoggle post by hungtableed at Apr 9,2007 3:40pm
I've been blasting this cd all day and what a great day I've had.

toggletoggle post by Granny_Monster at Apr 9,2007 3:42pm
Can't wait to see 'em again!

toggletoggle post by hungtableed at Apr 9,2007 3:46pm
Shit, we had a show that night. All night I was thinking how worth it it would have been to bail out on our gig to catch Ghoul. I'm eternally jealous of anyone who was there. Hopefully they manage to make it out here again some time in the near future.

toggletoggle post by Granny_Monster at Apr 9,2007 3:47pm
They're playing MDF

toggletoggle post by hungtableed at Apr 9,2007 3:48pm
when is that exactly?

toggletoggle post by Granny_Monster at Apr 9,2007 3:50pm
May 26th & 27th

Ghoul is on the 27th.

I'm still contemplating going or not.

toggletoggle post by hungtableed at Apr 9,2007 3:53pm
I've got a trip booked to go down to the carribean the week before that. If this job I'm trying to get goes through and I can't go on the trip, I am going to this come hell or high water. The lineup is killer.
