after flipping through channels all day at work, I heard this song that has been stuck in my head. After listening to all the shows that I thought it might be on http://www.wunh.org . I sent out an e-mail to my radio station (not even knowing if it was on my station or not).
"I thought claudia played it on thurday.. but I just skipped through her whole show and didn't hear it. I did hear a nancy sinatra song that sounded sort of like it. the problem is that the station was shutdown and I switched to a couple other net channels.
anyhow, the song sounded like something that would be in the lord of the rings cartoon from the 70's. there was a girl and a guy singing back and forth. one of them started just as the other ended and would sing a couple lines and then go back to the other person...
the some lyrics that I could hear had the like
"like a wheel within a wheel" and "running circles round your mind"
after skipping through claudia's show, it would completely fit it.
sounded like it was from vinyl too.
I know that's not much.. but this stupid song's been stuck in my head all day.
anyone?"
a couple hours later I got:
""Windmills Of Your Mind" words by Alan & Marilyn Bergman, music by Michel Legrand
featured in the original "Thomas Crown Affair" movie w/ Steve McQueen, sung by Dusty Springfield, 1967. Later covered by many people.
Can't think of who did a duet on it though....."

As soon as I read: "anyhow, the song sounded like something that would be in the lord of the rings cartoon from the 70's. there was a girl and a guy singing back and forth. one of them started just as the other ended and would sing a couple lines and then go back to the other person... "
I thought you were thinking of Battle Of Evermore by Zeppelin.
