it is very good musically but the vocals are leaving me confused. decide on a vocal style and stick with it for at least 1/2 the album for christsakes.

i've heard it and really like it. mastodon never released a shitty album.

I like the vocals on this one, it's one of the best records I've heard this year, along with Motorhead, Voivod, Summoning, Carpathian Forest, and the new Vader.

i originally thought this was gonna suck based on the preview tracks, which for some reason I thought sounded terribly boring.

honestly though, i heard the whole thing and it's really cool. definitely waaaay better than the last one and probably better than Remission. Im not sure though, I havent listened to Remission in years.
