I thought this was cool. Teleport all metalcore bands to the moon.

it will be impossible to teleport people or even animals for a long time since we don't fully understand the genetic makeup of the brain or human biology in general, and thus can't duplicate them. there's also the question of whether or not there is a 'soul' or some transient aspect of a human being which would not be duplicated, thus the human might end up on the other side a much different being.

that said, metalcore can skip the brain problem, so as you say, the moon awaits them.

Metalcore certainly has no soul...

Nice, yeah, they've covered that subject in a lot of sci-fi books, it would be cool to see how a period fiction piece handles it.

It's a cool story, and way more sci-fi than people are going to expect. I'm pumped for it, but from reading about it it seems they have taken out the creepier aspects of the story, so who knows.
