When I chilled with them they were totally cool. We hung out, got trashed, and ate pizza pretty standard. When we were at the pizza place (Rednecks in Allston if your familiar) a couple of people went up to the singer and were like "Hey your James Malone from Arsis" He seemed pretty surprised but was very friendly. |

Yeah they were really nice guys. James is the most humble guy you'd ever meet and he is so ridiculous on guitar, he rules. |

but, Iveyet to fully get into the new album, its just not as memorably as Celebration of Guilt, but its definetly good, just need to listen to it more |

i fucking love arsis. and james malone is definitely one of the most humble guys in metal. i saw them at the cabot street pub on sunday; i mentioned that i drove over 2 hours to see them and he was like, "ooh i'm so sorry about that!" haha...clearly i didn't care about driving since arsis is one of my favorite bands right now.

It gets SO much better after a few listens. They are definitely doing something new and different, and it takes a while to appreciate the record because of that. At this point, I think it smokes ACOG, but there still isn't a song as amazing as 'Sadistic Motives..' on it. |
