Destroy Destroy Destroy have added a recently recorded Iron Maiden cover song to their My Space page.

Guitarist Jeremiah Scott comments:
“We all love Iron Maiden, so when we decided a while back to do a cover. It was one of the few bands we could agree on. We didn’t want to pick an obvious Maiden song like ‘The Trooper’ or ‘The Number of the Beast’. We all happened to agree on ‘Fear of the Dark’. I guess its chord structure was very close to how we write our own songs, so it seemed perfect for us. We recorded it at my studio, Anthem Studios, in Nashville, TN. It’s been a fun song to play live and the crowd always responds to it well. We thought we would pay homage to a great band that has influenced us, and record it.”

When asked about plans for 2007, Jeremiah replies:
“As far as 2007 plans go... Road full time and writing during the downtime.
We have so much already swirling in our heads so it should be no problem, then record next January.”
