... what bands would make YOU leave your couch, lard-ass?
I'm not quite sure how many bands I want to put on it, but it would be at Cherry St in Wallingford, CT.
Ipsissimus and Baphomets Horns would be on it, one or two Mass / NH bands and perhaps a NY or NJ band (Blood Storm, maybe?) in addition to the "main draws"
I really want to see how much loot it would take to lure Black Witchery up here. And then there's one other whose name I dare not mention, but would likely be close behind if I were to secure Black Witchery.
Perhaps Negative Plane would be good, but I'm not sure if their draw would justify their travel expenses / $$$ needs - though that would probably be a selfish expense on my own account.
I was thinkin' Nachtmystium, but I'm not sure if the fact they've been through New England like, 5 times in the last several months would work FOR or AGAINST their draw.

Sathanas rules. Played with them in Pittsburgh. Morbosidad would rule, but being that they're from California, that would be quite pricey. Looking for bands that wouldn't break the wallet, y'know? Black Witchery would probably be where the bulk of the budget went if they played. Abazagorath being from Jersey seems a safe bet.
This show would definitely NOT be about money, but I want to be fair and give bands gas and beyond. For example, Ipsissimus and Baphomets would not take any $$$ - all money would go to the bands who travelled.

in addition to whoever i solicit from MA/NH
... again, i'm not looking to make any money off this, but i'm especially concerned with having to dip into my own shallow (shylock???) pocket to have to pay bands that came from buttfucking egypt to play. i'm sure you all can see where i'm coming from and i don't mean to belabor that point. |

Best death metal band right now, but then there's Crucifire and Destruktor from Australia, so i guess i am in between. Kaamos is awesome as well, but they are done.
Abazagorath were fucking great when Hirudinea played with them, i think Schmandy's band Horns of Vanere played to, but they fucking sucked.
"Sacraments of the Final Atrocity" is an amazing cd, it almost sounds like their brother band (Funebrarum) rubbed off on them, but obviously more black metal. So underrated, everyone (including Candy Andy) think their earlier stuff was better. Gaysauce. |

After I see what's up and who's down, I'll be soliciting one or two New England bands. Baphomets Horns and Ipsissimus will definitely be playing. Six band bill - fuck a "fest." |
