I've been trying to unzip files and for some reason any .tar files open with stuffit expander no problem but .rar files get saved as quicktime files for some reason and they cant be unzipped thus crippling my extensive music downloading scheme. anyone know how to fix this or a program that will recognize these files when i go to save them that will enable me to unzip?

Another question: Does it hurt when you take it in the manvag?

Most things I've ever downloaded/tried to install on my mac I had to download a special "installer" program to run the installation process. For some reason (maybe because they are red commie liberals) almost every program I've attempted to install won't install with the mac's default installer application. Lousy democrats....
