So I hear... this is great news. You might as well be the house drummer at Ralph's! March 20th with STR, April 3rd with DS, May 1 with Polaris, May 15th with Withered Sun, then May 25th with The Accursed. They should just have your drums on a riser in a trap door under the stage... flip a switch and they just pop up. I'll put in a request with Steve. |

yeah, i figured chris still had the record. what's the record for most different bands a musician has played with at metal thursday? i think withered sun will be chris's 5th different metal thursday band, but i'm not sure. i'm figuring that's the record, but that rutcho is close. |

Yeah C. Helme will be at 5 after this show. Smite the Righteous, The Accursed, Polaris, Dreaded Silence, Withered Sun.
I think there is a 3-way tie for 2nd place with Pete Rutcho (Graveheart, Frozen, Armory), Mike B. (Bane of Existence, Noosebomb, Composted) & myself (Zircon, Bane of Existence, Living Monstrosity) all playing with 3 different bands. Although I may end up in a tie with C. Helme in a few months once the Slayer show comes together, and also something else probably happening in August. |

I think it does the same for me, I don't need a punching bag anymore since I'm there beating the shit out of my drums every other week. This is my what, 347th appearance there? Sweet.
P.S. After tonight, I'm going on a short hiatus from Ralph's shows, because you're all sick of me.

What is really funny is that all of the people I work with have degrees in psychology, and they completely understand it. There are clinical psychologists who throw me the horns on a regular basis while I'm at work. |
