I'm starting. Every male on both my mother and fathers side went bald. So.....it's a guarantee with me. I do notice what seems like a little bit more hair than should be falling out when i shower. I'm talking like single strands, not clumps. But still i've only got so many and my hair population is slowly falling day by day. I'll probably be balding by 27ish and definately full on cue ball by mid 30s

My hairline has been slowly receding since I was 19; most people don't notice but I sure as fuck do. Now I'm noticing that the rest of my hair is thinning, not just my hairline. Rogaine here I come!

when I shave my head, im going to look like the chicken lady meets mr potato. so stuppid. where are my mutigenic pills made from hampster sperm that I butter my anus liberally with and it grows hair everywhere? lame.

there's only like one bald dude in my whole extended family. I think he lost most of his hair because he sold it for coke.

funny, no one in my family really went bald but once I started thinning, I noticed plenty of fiveheads.

Start in with the Rogaine before you're actually bald. It will retain the hair you still have.

I have a bunch of greys. When I was about 23 my hairline receeded a bit and then stopped. Been the same ever since. Every male on my mother's side is totally bald. They hate me. Even my little brother seems to be getting hit. Fortunately, I take after my dad. I think its willpower. I just fucking refuse to go bald.

I've got plenty of hair on my head, and so does everyone on my mother's side so I'm not worried at that.

What I do have are weird sporadic bald spots on my legs. I don't mind them because I'm a hairy Italian motherfucker. But I have no idea what the cause of it is, and whenever I try to look it up I just get results for dogs, cats and hamsters. Anybody ever heard of this?

I have hair, but am beginning to spawn a monkey butt (FAIL). Also many greys on the sides. Probably I will be dead soon, probably.

my dad/moms dad/dads dad/all my uncles were bald by 24 at the latest. So i am breaking the mold.....i use rogaine, so maybe that's why. Anyways, i like hair.

my younger brother's got a full head of hair, but has a reed richards thing going on. I keep telling him you can't just for men hair onto your head so be happy. I don't think I have a monkey's butt going on cause I can't see back there. I do have a wicked fade though.

i'm 27 and my hair is as thick as it has always been. my dad started balding at about 22 and now is 100% bald on top. my younger brother is starting to show signs of it. i have way more traits from my moms side, and her father has a full head of hair at 85. my bro has all the traits from my dads side, and all the males are bald. i really dodged a bullet on this one.

I first noticed it on my 24th birthday - and it's not the horseshoe, which I could deal with, or the spot, which isn't so terrible, but the whole damn top of my head. Lucky I a) got all the long hair and mohawks and whatnot out of my system, and b) got used to shaving my head early.

Ive been going bald since the 4th grade, so in highschool i started shaving it. I tried once after that to grow it out, but damn i looked homeless.

Just shave it if you are going bald. I do not see why people make a big deal out of hair loss. I see those commercials about hair loss, and it is always a bunch of pathetic losers complaining, then in the next clip: "Look at me, I can swim again."

yeah, i don't see the big deal. i probably won't go bald, but if i did, i'd just shave it. it's a natural part of life, so there shouldn't be any stigma attached.
