Bad Taste Records proudly presents our first signing in almost a year - the American singer/songwriter Denison Witmer. In "Philadelphia Songs" Denison has recorded one of the most beautiful albums we've ever heard and after seeing his live show at the Malmö City Festival here in Sweden last year it was made very clear to us that his songs are just as impressive in a live environment as on his records! Ever since it has only been a matter of finding the time to release and promote the album properly. And that time is now!

Denison Witmer's "Philadelphia Songs" is coming out on March 31:st in Scandinavia (to coincide with an early April tour) and on April 19:th in the rest of Europe. Having toured the U.S. extensively over the past couple of years and also done two support tours of the UK (with Sub Pop recording artist Rosie Thomas and My Morning Jacket!), Denison is certainly no stranger to touring and we will make sure he visits Europe frequently in the coming months.

Already confirmed is a short Scandinavian tour early April and a two-week UK support tour with Charlemagne starting mid-May. In combination with the UK tour we will also book additional dates on mainland Europe.
