I always had mine set on "rock". Just tested out all the other settings and "dance" seems to work best for my setup.
DRI, Ladytron and Order From Chaos were my guinea pig bands - because I know you're wondering.
... what do you set your Ipod EQ to?

I use some mid-range Shure in ear headphones with triple flange sleeves. They're only single driver; so, I use the treble reducer setting. It gives the bass more presence and takes away any harshness of the highs.
I'll be upgrading to the high end Shure in ears soon. Triple driver. Going to be sweeeeet. I'll have to look more at my EQ settings when that time comes.
yea, i keep mine on rock
R&B is also good for a good bass boost, but i think it can be a little too loud. I wish there was a way to set your own custom EQ on it

I have these awesome Coby ear buds that youstuff into your ears like ear plugs and have AWESOME bass in em. Sounds like there's a stereo/woofer in your head.
Best $10 i ever spent
I think I'm going to invest in those Cobe ear buds. I hate the lack of bass in regular iPod ear buds (unless you reaaaally push em in there) but also hate headphones any larger.
